ABOUT US
The Dressmaker emerged from a desire to simplify life, to find clothing that was suitable for professional women but simultaneously modest, flattering and stylish. It seemed like a tall order; stylish and modest were never synonymous terms after all.It began as sketches in the early hours and sewing into the night, and adaptations of high street skirts and dresses, multiple layering in the height of summer and winter. There simply had to be another way. Fifteen years of designing for individuals for every occasion imaginable; college, work, weddings and The Dressmaker was born.
